Responsibilities:

Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable

Safely use hand tools and equipment such as; wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more.

Safely operate mechanized equipment such as; bucket trucks, digger derrick, excavators, and more.

Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers

Flagging traffic when required

Understanding of separation and clearance regulations

Ability to safely work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders.

Flexibility to work in multiple locations

Ability to travel when travel is required.
Overview:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and plan work activities, uses time efficiently
- Lead and train crew while adhering to all safety procedures
- Follow production procedures, accurately track and submit daily reports and paperwork
- Complete work orders through supervisor’s direction and customer specifications. Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
- Accountable for issued truck, trailer, tools, signs, cones and other equipment
- Safely identify utilities in the work area and recognize electrical and other safety hazards
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and requirements
- Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe
- Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Perform tasks using hand tools and mechanized equipment to lay conduit and place copper/fiber optic cable
Responsibilities:
- Operate mechanized equipment such as backhoe/plow/trencher for the installation of telecommunication cables and conduit.
- Safely identify utilities in the construction area, dig pits, trenches, etc as directed by the job plan.
- Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite.
- Use of manual equipment such as shovels and posthole diggers.
- Load materials, lay conduit and place cable.
- Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic.
